[ Not even bothering with the pleasant greetings this time. Slipping in and beginning to wander around Aoba's room. Making sure your journal isn't open here or anything. Now close that door we need some privacy!! ]
[ action | december 13 ]
No worries, it's buried rather well under the mattress, no-one would hear a thing!]
Oh, hey! Did senpai need anything...?
[ action | december 13 ]
I know you've been in Luceti for quite a few months now. What do you think? How is daily life? Are you making friends?
[ He is asking, he is curious, but it seems as though he's asking it more to himself than anything. ]
[ action | december 13 ]
Hm... I'd like to think I'd settled in quite well! Between my housemates, school and the Book Club, I feel like I've made friends with a lot of people!
[ action | december 13 ]
Don't you get tired?
[ action | december 13 ]
... Oh boy, questions he isn't sure how to answer.]
'Tired'? Of what, senpai?
[ action | december 13 ]
It may have been my own fault. I think I got too comfortable and too complacent with life here. I was always relying on meeting new and strange people, and waiting for experiments to happen to make life interesting. But after a while, I realized... I've gotten used to it already. Whatever strange thing happened here, I would end up just brushing it off immediately after, hoping that something more dramatic would happen next time. And... I became restless. That's when I realized that, when I look around me, at all these amazing people around me who have superpowers or aren't human or whatnot... I'm not really much besides "a boy from Earth" without what makes me, me.
And you know? [ He stops pacing again, this time looking up at Aoba. ] I was talking to Silver the other day. He made me realize that I only wasn't trying because I wasn't letting myself. Here, in Luceti, there are no boundaries or rules we have to follow. People like you and me can learn magic, and how to use weapons and go to war... We can do whatever we want, and only we can decide when to stop.
So how about it? [ And now he breaks out into a smile. A truly happy smile! ] Do you want to recreate the Dollars with me?

Isn't this the part of Mikado that caught his attention? The greed, the desire, the inability to ever be content with what he had. The man who'd demand more and more, even when he'd long reached his limit. Ahh, is it fair that such a person can exist? Is it right for him to allow an existence that doesn't even fit within his definition of humanity?
. . . Of course, what is 'right' is sort of irrelevant here. Essentially, the matter came down to: his senpai had been given 'freedom'... And, predictably enough, he wanted more. It's hard to tell if his senior even knows exactly what he wants, but 'more' seems to sum it up pretty well. More power, more influence, more possessions... those are all desires Aoba can understand, as they fit in with what he sees humanity to be. Really, at times his senpai puts him in mind of a child who doesn't like what they got for Christmas.
But when he sees that look of genuine joy on his face... ]
Mm... considering our contract, senpai should already know my answer, right?
[ action | december 13 ]
I've thought a little bit about it, and I think that even though the number of people in Luceti is far less than the people who were in the Dollars before, I think this time, we can be more successful. I mean, people here are really nice, and there are so many hero types I don't think we'd have too much of a problem. [ Though something in the back of his eyes say, "and if you mess this up, I won't ever forgive you..." or something equally as poisonous. ]
[ action | december 13 ]
Mm... the people here are always willing to help out [i.e. they're worthless and gulliable.], so I'm sure they'd fit in wonderfully with senpai's vision of Dollars!
[ action | december 13 ]
I haven't figured out exactly how to get people to join yet, but... For now, will you help me spread the word? [ Advertising it over the journals would make it seem like it was a traditional organization, with him as the leader, and with rules and a purpose and everything. But then he realized if he really wants it to be the way it was, then why not really go back to its roots? ]
[ action | december 13 ]
Mm... that might be a little difficult to do without people getting a little suspicious. [He'll have to turn his innocence up to full!] What sort of organisation would you like me to promote Dollars as, in that case?
[ action | december 13 ]
I think it might be best to just act as though you've only ever just heard about it in passing. You don't have to promote it in any way at all, just spread the word. [ Whether or not the people of Luceti will grasp on to the idea like people at home did... is another story, though. All he can do in that department is hope for the best. ]
[ action | december 13 ]
Aoba'll just... watch him for a second, as though he's trying to come to a judgement as to how feasible he thinks this plan is... before breaking out in a smile.] Alright then, I'll pass the word along!
[ action | december 13 ]
Let's match smiles! Something we're good at. ] Thanks so much, Aoba-kun! I know I can always count on you.
[ Though it should be quite obvious to Aoba that those words are formality only, and he doesn't actually mean any of those things. To him, it was a given that he'd cooperate. Hesitating to do so would only mean betraying their contract. He knows that this puts him in danger of being used, too, but... It's not like he can't fight back. ]
[ action | december 13 ]
Honestly, is there any need for them to pretend like this? Surely his senpai realises that the restoration of Dollars in itself isn't particularly interesting for him. After all, the important part is how his senpai will act when he's re-established it! Will he be able to achieve the idealistic organisation he imagines? Will he be forced to taint it with his own lust for power? Or will all those 'hero-types' find the idea of an anonymous organisation dull? Ahh, he really, really wants to see his senpai's face if that happens!]
Ah... I'm glad my senpai has such faith in me! I'll be sure not to disappoint you at all!
[ action | december 13 ]
[ Smile, and he moves to leave. BUSINESS IS DONE TIME TO BE NORMAL AGAIN ]
