[You know Masaomi was actually getting some new hair bleaching items (it's been a while, it runs out!) at the item shop which is a much more daunting process than you'd think when he spots out of the corner of his eye something which seems oddly familiar. It takes him a while to place it but... that's a Raira uniform on a kid he doesn't recognize. He barely looks old enough to be in it, actually, but if it's really the same one...

[ After Anri's arrival, Mikado had been expecting nothing more from Luceti.

So when he was casually flipping through the journal this afternoon, he hadn't even opened to the next page completely when the voice coming out of it made him freeze.

[As you might expect, Masaomi Kida was not someone Aoba had expected to run into. If his fading hair colour (and the fact he knew where to find bleach for it of all things) was anything to go by, he'd probably been here a while. For some reason, he finds that... oddly amusing. Not that he shows it, mind you. When he responds, he looks as innocent(!!) and surprised(!!) as you'd expect from a schoolboy being addressed by a total stranger.]

[Zenigata is out on patrol, he's spent the last few days simply stalking around the village looking for wrongs to right and traces of the Malnosso he intends to arrest. Of course, spotting a Japanese kid in a shou-gakkusei uniform is easy for him.]

That's... a uniform a recognize. Is that Raira? [He steps out to get a bit closer to try to examine the kid. No, he doesn't recognize him but the kiddish thing bears some sort of similar feeling. But hell, for all he knows it could be someone in the past or future. It could be anyone or it could be coincidence]

[~~HE IS DEEPLY SUSPICIOUS~~ no more like if he had reason to be suspicious he'd be. But oh... so this guy is in their year? Or it could be a timeline thing, like he thought. A brief contemplative look crosses his face. Because really... Mikado (who is now tainted a bit) and Anri aside, his luck with his world showing up here isn't great: Shizuo, Izaya, even Celty he thought was dangerous at first]

[That look fades quickly though, and a bright smile comes onto his face] That's right~ Ah, I'm a first year too; Masaomi Kida.

Senpai. [and now he's beaming.] You didn't have to walk too far, right?

[He catches that look, naturally. It's no real surprise that Masaomi doesn't trust him, and all really it means is that he'll have to endear himself to him a little.

Anyway, you know that whole 'restraint' thing? Yeah, that's going out the window the second he hears Masaomi's name, as excitement makes it's way onto his face. Don't mind him bro, just edging a little closer. What's a little personal space between schoolmates? ]
